Water+Beach=conscious walk

When starting to learn to walk, or otherwise use feet and legs, after an accident. Walking consciously on a beach with ancle high water, can accelerate the healing process of the motion.

The feedback from water helps the brain to reconnect and sequence the muscles. This feedback is not only from the tactile sensation, but the sound of the “splash” as well. The practice of focusing on not making a “splash”, i. e. to connect smoothly with the water, forces the brain to coordinate more fluent movements.
